GROUPS
Support groups are an essential way of gaining proximity with others experiencing similar challenges while assisting with a variety of needs. With our experience we have the ability create curriculum for behavioral and mental health needs for children and parents of all ages, and assist with your groups’ therapeutic needs.

Parenting with Positive Discipline
Introduction
Positive Discipline, by Dr. Jane Nelson (www.positivediscipline.com), is an international parenting approach that helps increase our ability to be the effective parents we want to be in the light of any challenge. It empowers us to become kind but firm parents; holding children accountable for their actions while building their self-esteem. Positive Discipline helps us minimize the power-struggles with difficult behaviors and teaches children how to focus on resolving problems.
Positive Discipline
In this 8 week group parents gain the basic principles of Positive Discipline. The group is formatted to provide valuable information and experiential activities while parents share their experiences and gain skills together. This group increases parents’ ability to become kind but firm, consistent in follow through, and gain mutual respect while increasing their children’s abilities to feel capable, confident, and self-reliant.
Positive Discipline for Parents of Teens
This 8 week group is also formatted to provide valuable information and experiential activities while parents share their experiences and gain skills together. This group focuses primarily on the teenage years and the challenges parents face with their teens’ behaviors and individuation. This group is helpful for parents with gaining insight to their interactions while increasing mutual respect and positive communication with their teens.
